My photography has roots in my undergraduate degree in multimedia design and production (Go Hoosiers!) where I gained a foundation in the technical side of capturing an image on film or a sensor. My perspective has been shaped by coming of age in Southeast Asia, the American midwest, and West Africa. Living in contrasting cultures has led me to a photographic style which is heavy on contrast, hoping to bring out a sense of wonder and the range of experiences in life.
More recently, photography has turned towards family, with my curious toddler becoming the focal point of most of my work.
